This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Electronic Government, EGOV 2006, held in Krakow, Poland in September 2006 in conjunction with DEXA 2006.
The 31 revised papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions for inclusion in the book. Depicting the state of the art in e-government/ e-governance they provide guidance for the community of e-government practitioners and researchers and the global digital / e-government societies that are forming at the present time.
