Stanceandbindinganglebothdependonyourridingstyle.Therearefourfactorstodeterminingtheperfectstance,theyare:Width,location,footangle,andbootshift.
binding站立姿势和角度是跟据你喜爱的滑雪方式而设定。这里有以下因素影响binding的站立姿势：宽度，位置，脚的角度，鞋的前后位置。
Width.Widthismeasuredfromthecenterofonebindingtothecenteroftheotherbinding.Mostwidth’sarebetweensixteenandtwentyincheswide,orjustslightlymorethanshoulderwidthapart.Thiswillalsovarydependingonhowyourfeetareangledonyourboard.Ifyouridefreestyleyourstancewillmostlikelybeonthewideside.But,ifyourfeetareangletowardthefrontofyourboard,asinfreeridingorcarving,yourstancewillmostlikelybenarrower.
宽度是由两个binding的中心位置计算。一般约在16-20寸，或刚好比你的肩膀宽少许。这是依据脚的角度有所不同。但是，如果在freeriding/carving时，脚的角度是比较向前方，那么，你的站立的姿势多数较窄。
Location.Locationreferstoeitherforwardofthecenteroftheboard,inthecenteroftheboard,ortowardthebackoftheboard.Themanufacturerwillmostoftengiveyouareferencepointwheretheythinkyourstanceshouldbe.Thisisagoodstartingpoint.Formostfreestyleboardsthestancelocationisusuallycentered.Forfreeriding,orcarving,itisusuallybackfromcenter.Youcanchangeyourstancepositiondependingonsnowconditions.Ifyouencountervaryingsnowconditionsitisusuallysafetogowithaslightlybackstance(whichisaboutahalf-inchoraninchbackfromcenterdependingonthesizeofyourboard).
位置是指靠在板的前方，或中间，或后方。多数的厂商已设定了一个参考位置。这也是一个很好的指引。Freestyle板，大多设于中间位置。Freeriding/Carving板，大多设于中间偏后的位置。你也可以跟据不同雪情况作出变更。如果雪况不是太稳定，可以把位置设于中间偏少许后的位置(跟据你的板的长度，作出大约半寸至一寸调较)
Footangle.Changingyourbindinganglewillchangehowpressureisappliedtotheedgesofyouboard.Themoreangleyouhavetheeasieritwillbetovarytheamountofpressureyoucanapplytotheedgeofyourboard,andthemoreleverageyouwillhavetomovetheboard.Yougenerallydon’twantanangleofzeroonbothfeet.Mostpeoplewhoridefreestyleusuallyridestraightacrosstheboard.But,ifyouhaveazeroangleonyourrearfoot,youshouldhavebetweenafiveandfifteendegreeangleonyourfrontfoot.
改变脚的角度会影响用力的感觉。角度大点，更容易把力量送到板边，但需要较大的扭力去转动雪板。一般来说，角度都不会是零度。
多数的freestyle玩家，角度都比较平直。但如果你后脚是零度，你的前脚应该在5-15度。

如果你是freeride/carve玩家，两只脚的角度大约在5-15度。尽管少许的角度转变，也会影响板的杠杆作用。
Bootshift.Bootshiftreferstocenteringthebootbetweentheedgesofyourboard.Youdonotwanttoomuchtoeoverhang,ortoomuchheeloverhang.Yourbindingshaveslotsinthemtohelpyouadjustbootshift.Youwanttohaveyourtoesjustoverthefrontofyourboardandyourheelsjustovertheheeledgeofyourboard.Ifyouhavetoomuchoverhangyouwillfalldownwhenyouturnbecauseeitheryourtoewilldraginthesnow,oryourheelorthebackofyourbindingwilldraginthesnow.Thebestwaytoeliminateanyoverhangistobuyaboardthatiswideenoughforyou.IfyouhavesizeU.S.10+bootsyoumightwanttogetawideboard.Anotherwaytoeliminatethisistochangeyourbindingangles.Also,youcanbuypads(likeRedGasPedels)toputonyourbindingstoliftyourtoe(but,thisonlyworksifyouhavetraditionalbindings,notstep-ins).Ifyouhavetohavesomeoverhangitisbettertohavemoretoeoverhangthanheeloverhang.
Boot的位置，是指boot应该在板边中间。太前或太后，会导致转弯时脚指或脚跟拖雪，很容易跌倒。如何防止这种情况发生呢，当然是选用比较宽的板子。如果你是穿10号鞋以上，那你便要用较宽的板子了。另一个方法，是把binding的角度加大。再者，你也可以用pads去升起你双脚，但这方法不能用于step-inbinding。如果无法防止，那么脚指拖雪比脚跟拖雪为好。
