Jason Cochran also wrote Pauline Frommer's London (awarded Guide Book of the Year by the North American Travel Journalists Association) and Pauline Frommer's Walt Disney Worm & Orlando. He has written for publications including Budget Travel (as senior editor); Entertainment Weekly; the New York Post, Daily News, and Times; Travel + Leisure and T+ L Family; Newsweek; City; AOL's travel blog; Frommers.com; the South Florida Sun-Sentinel; Arena (U.K.); Who (Australia); Scanorama and Seasons (Sweden). He has been an arts columnist for both Inside.com (late night TV) and Sidewalk.com (theater). His writing has also been awarded the Golden Pen by the Croatian government and was selected to appear in a permanent exhibit in the National Museum of Australia. He also devised questions for the first American season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (ABC) and before that, spent nearly two years backpacking solo around the world. As a commentator, he has appeared on CNN, CNN Headline News, CNNfn, Australia.com, WOR, Outdoor Life Network, and MSNBC.com. He is an alumnus of Northwestern University's MediU School of Journalism and New York University's Graduate Music Theatre Writing Program.
