Jeremy Gray Born in Louisiana of English parents，Jer-emy went to univer—sity in Texas and has since lived in Britain,Germanv and the Netherlands．When he first visited Am—sterdam in l998．it immediately feIt like home，SO he upped and moved to a flat in the Eastern Islands．Soon Jeremy was lingering with the locals in brown cafes，bumping on his bike along the canals and toe—tapping to Jazz at the Bimhuis．He admires the Dutch for their bubbly gezel—ligheid,spontaneity and openness—and fondly recalls how a near—stranger revealed that she was the test-tube child of his land-l0rd，S girlfriend'S father．The only Calvinist finger—wag came from his barber，for not supporting the local pub．Jeremy now lives in Berlin，where he divides his time between travel writing，photography and documentary film．He returns to Amsterdam as often as possible just to see gorgeous canals。You can find more of his work at www．jeremyjgray.com.
