Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer is a psychosexual therapist who helped to pioneer the field of media psychology. Born in Germany, she was a kindergarten teacher in Paris and Israel before coming to the U.S. where she obtained her master's degree and received a doctorate in education. She is the author of' several children's books and is a devoted grandmother of three. Dr. Weetheimer is an Adjunct Professor at, New York University and in New York City.
