KORE被NI称为“通用声音平台”，形容KORE将成为音乐人和乐手对虚拟乐器和效果器理解的一场革命，KORE在工作室和舞台上都能发挥出自己的优势。
KORE到底是什么？说白了它就是将Native Instruments所有软件、音色产品组合到一个软件套装里，并允许作为宿主调用其它VST插件。再加上使用一个硬件MIDI控制器+音频接口来进行控制的系统。
整合的软件界面：
KORE将所有NI发行的软件和音色综合到一个软件界面中，包括合成器、效果器、鼓机、采样器、音色等等，有了KORE你就拥有在同一个软件界面里调用所有NI软件和音色的能力。
KORE不仅可以读取NI自己的合成器和效果器，更可以加载VST或AU乐器和效果器，也就是说KORE实际上是一个宿主软件，但它会搭配NI的KOMPLETE软件包销售，使得你同时拥有所有NI的合成器、效果器插件。
快速查找/存储音色：
KORE自带的搜索引擎可以快速搜索并调用超过11000个的预置音色。通过音色分层和音色组合功能，可任意分配各个音色的通路，这些操作都可以在音乐播放的同时进行。所有音色的参数设置、分层分区设置、通路设置等等都可以存为KoreSound格式，方便随时调用。
KoreSound格式可以存储音色名称和特性信息、乐器分类、键盘分区信息、控制器号、连接到KORE调音台的信息、MIDI文件。将声音存储为KoreSound格式后你就可以随时恢复存储时的场景。
硬件控制器：
KORE还配有一个硬件控制器，带有8个高分辨率的触感旋钮，OLED显示屏幕，可实时控制KORE软件。同时还集成了USB 2.0的音频接口，方便随身携带随时完成音乐的创作。
KORE硬件控制器有8个按钮和8个无限旋转的旋钮，它们分别对应KORE软件中加载每个乐器预置的8个按钮和8个旋钮，如上图所示。而KORE软件中每个乐器预置的8个按钮和8个旋钮又将对应于软件界面中的任意8个按钮和旋钮，
如果你认为KORE只能控制8个按钮和8个旋钮就错了，使用翻页功能KORE可以切换到所有参数进行控制。KORE控制器上的屏幕可以显示多达5行的数据，你可以不看电脑屏幕而直接在控制器上进行大部分的操作。
KORE控制器主要特性：

可以说KORE天生就是为现场演出准备的，KORE软件的现场模式可以使一些重要的按钮和旋钮变大，便于操作。此外KORE还带有调音台界面，带有4路辅助总线，本身就内置了14种常用效果，而不必单独加载其它的效果器。
完美的兼容性：
不论你用PC还是Mac，不论你独立运行KORE，还是将KORE作为RTAS插件运行在Pro Tools下，还是将其它VST插件加载到KORE里，所有的声音参数都是通用的，你可以保存当前的环境，用在其它的音乐里。
创造出新的声音：
由于KORE有驾御所有NI插件和其它VST插件的能力，你完全可以将KORE看作是一个新的乐器，用它来组合出全新的声音。
Kore 升级到2.0了！不仅换了新的控制硬件（Kore 1.0硬件依然可以在2.0里使用），软件也做出了巨大的变化。
Kore 2.0软件主要新特性：
