We all have to reckon with loss and the events that have shaped us sooner or later, and this record is Gnecco’s compelling attempt to do just that. Though Jimmy plays every instrument on the album, it’s his evocative, soulful voice that takes centre stage, creating 15 songs with a potent mix of intimacy, integrity and beautiful melancholy.
