故事的發輾轉回了大黃蜂這邊。大黃蜂被帶進了美國的秘密研究基地，它無意看見了被冰封了起來的麥加登也在這裡，於是想破壞掉這個死對頭，掙脫了人類的束縛採取了行動——為了接近麥加登的研究室必須打開鐳射門，先按地圖的指示去破環三道鐵門，每破壞一道門，就會有報警機器出來，必須很快幹掉它們，否則任務失敗。

鐳射門的光欄消失了一部份，必須還要繼續破壞——本關算是比較難的關卡了，需要大黃蜂破壞5個巨型風扇，破壞風扇以後還要在限定的時間內駛出狹窄的隧道，途中需要不停的使用汽車狀態下的武器來開路才行。由於有5個風扇，破壞每個風扇的過程都很難和含有一定運氣成分，所以，需要很大的耐心才行，失敗了就必須從第一個風扇開始。

好不容易完成上面的任務以後，大黃蜂終於迎來了相對比較簡單的任務——破壞5個能量罐，按照地圖標示，攀爬上建築物頂就可以看見需要破壞的東西，雖然有時間限制，但是還算簡單，這裡提醒一點就是，攀爬的時候要找牆面平的面，不然任務容易失敗。

終於把鐳射門開打了——大黃蜂要破壞麥加登旁邊的能量石。先破壞6個支架（用機械人形態的右鍵武器速度最快），然後找一個能有靠背的位置站定（這步是必須的）,這裡推薦把人物放置到遠離麥加登的那個柵欄處，反擊攻擊你的機甲蟲，迎接麥加登的醒來。然後動畫以後就拖2分半鐘吧，這個過程相當的難，你必須殺蟲來補充自己的能量，因為麥加登的擊退能力讓你少血很快，而且防禦不能的，選好位置靠運氣吧（如果被擊出了綠色區域只有15秒時間回去，最好變成汽車形態回去）。

任務結束以後，大黃蜂帶著前來營救自己的SAM並拿著能量石跑出了基地，而麥加登也被星星叫和瘋狂救出了美軍基地……惡戰才剛剛開始
