taiwan is an island in East Asia located off the coast of mainland China, south of Japan, and north of the Philippines, the total area of Taiwan is around 36,000 kilometre squared. According to the recent census figures, the population of Taiwan is about 20.15 million.

Natural resources have always been limited in Taiwan, Taiwan has small deposits of coal, natural gas, limestone，marble, and asbestos.

Taiwan has few natural resources. fishins is a big industry, but now the people mainly focus on agriculture and trading. apart from that, Taiwan has significant coal deposits and oil and gas deposits. Taiwan is also rich in wind energy resources, and by promoting it, Taiwan's government is hoping to aid the energy manufacturing industry, and develop it into an export market.
