关于neither ...nor 的合并问题

He was able to write.

He was able to read.

改为

He was neither able to write nor read.

还是

He was able to neither write nor read.

这两者有什么区别

这是上海版统编教材第三册

选择个吧：He was neither able to write nor read.

我觉得都不对。

neither ...nor 是 否定的。

He was neither able to write nor read.

是说他都不会了。

应该有、用either……or

后者用both……and

如果是否定的， 那应该选

He was neither able to write nor read.

选择第二个

应该是He was neither able to write nor read.

第二句是错误的

或者这样也行 He was able to write，neither able to read
