The initial volume concentrates on the more theoretical aspects of the topic, as these form the foundations on which further advance is likely to be made. The second and third volumes of the book deal with the more clinical aspects of recording and interpreting the electrocardiogram, with the third volume concentrating on some of the specialized a " though no less important a " aspects of electrocardiology and electrocardiography.
