斯伯丁篮球的保养:
1.根据使用场所选择室外用球(oudoor)或室内用球(indoor).一般木地板、塑胶地板、水磨场等平滑的场地选用室内用球，即含PU成份较多的篮球；水泥场地、街头篮球场地及泥地选用室外篮球。
2.定期检查篮球的充气饱和度，不能太饱和没气。真观检查方法：把篮球伸直手举到头顶，轻放篮球落地，弹到胸前，说明充气适当；如弹到面前说明充气太饱；反之，说明气不足。
3.注意篮球存放地方的温度及湿度，不能放在高温的地方，例如：晒热不透气的车箱。使用后不篮球用水清洗，用干布擦为佳。
4.不能以高压/重力施于篮球，会造成篮球内胆变形，爆裂，例如空闲时坐在篮球上。
5.打完球后用干毛巾擦拭篮球。如果灰比较多的话，不要直接用水清洗 因为篮球的橡胶线长时间清洗容易脱落 用牙刷粘洗洁精，刷洗篮球表面，刷洗干净后用干毛巾擦干净即可。
6.打气时要先以油或水湿润球针，再轻轻插入内胆。一定使用球针打气，若只使用打气嘴，会导致表皮与内胆分离。
