Characteristics:作为皮埃蒙特产区最优秀且最具创意的葡萄酒生产者,巴伐生产区一系列独特且优质的葡萄酒。Reberto, Giulio, Paulo Bava和他们的父亲Piero将现代技术所带来的新创意和新方法融入到意大利皮埃蒙特产区的葡萄酒世界中,将传统的家族型酒园转型为管理型公司。1911年,一个由家族拥有并管理的现代化酿酒厂诞生了。

Noted as one of the finest and most innovative producers of Piemont, Bava produces a range of unique and exquisite wines from their family vineyards. Roberto, Giulio and Paulo Bava, with their father Piero, have transformed their traditional family owned winery into a company managed according to the precepts of modern professionalism bringing fresh ideas and new methods into the world of Piedmontese wine. A modern family owned and managed winery established in 1911.

Bava is renowned for producing wines that owe more to the vineyard they originate from than the winemaking and maturation techniques employed. The winery's initiatives include the use of French barriques for ageing Barberas and the use of rare local Cortese grapes to produce Alteserre ( Chardonnay/Cortese blend), the new "Super-Piedmontese" white wine from Bava.

intense, almost impenetrable deep red. The nose is powerful, rich, almost balsamic, with hints of wild plums, cherry jam, pepper and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full and round, with a degree of alcohol and acidity which discretely optimize the sweet notes of red fruit, eucalyptus and mint.

It’s a very versatile wine: it’s elegant and velvety, rich of character and body.

Recommended with:

it’s a limitation to suggest food pairings with this wine, since it goes really well with many national and international recipes including, of course, pasta, red meats and cheeses.
