Drist是一支来自于美国旧金山海湾地区的金属乐队.早在1997年,他们在加利福尼亚州圣马特奥开始形成雏形,乐队的名字Drist来自于威尔士土话,翻译为"悲伤".

Drist的首张专辑Bitter Halo发布于2003年,随后在2006年他们又发布了Orchids和Ammunition两张专辑.

其中他们的一首Decontrol附送于PS2游戏吉他英雄2当中,我们也就是从这个游戏开始接触这个乐队.

Mixing for "Science of Misuse" has finally begun. It took a little bit longer than anticipated to get things started since the studio has been booked pretty solid. I have yet to hear any rough mixes, but hopefully we will get those soon and we can start putting up some teasers before the release.

In the meantime I have been writing quite a bit of material for the follow up to "Science of Misuse". So far there's roughly enough music for 7-8 songs. Aaron and I have been going over guitar parts and discussing arrangements, solos, etc. Lots of cool guitar stuff going on. I don't want to go into too much detail, but we're really excited to start demoing this stuff.

Our website (www.Drist.com) is being completely redone and that should launch very soon. There will be some new photographs, gear information, member bios etc. We'll also have the responses to the "Ask the Band" blog posted there as well. Thanks to all those who submitted questions. I also spoke with Aaron about setting up a forum there so we can interact with fans, geek out about guitars, amps, etc. Should be cool.

I also wanted to let everyone who has been asking about merchandise know that we are looking into it. We're basically trying to determine 00004000 who is offering the best product for the best price. So everyone should be able to get their Drist t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, g-strings, whatever... very soon!
