A LILY是英国后摇团Yndi Halda(别告诉我你不知道，不知道的请在站内搜索)的吉他手James Vella的个人计划,而他这个计划最初的目的就是为自己的女友Lenna制作一些适合晚上躺在床上静静聆听的音乐,真是相当的浪漫的做法.

醒着，睡去，睡着，醒来，在清醒与无意识之间，所应该充盈的就该是像A Lily这样的音乐吧。彷佛可以看见James Vella为了让女友好好睡着，所以把这些美丽的音符从梦境中释放出来，变成这个真实世界的乐音。而我最喜欢的一首歌是专辑中作为结尾的Shipwreck。说是结尾曲，其实这首歌的长度竟有33分51秒，几是专辑中其它曲目的长度总和，由此也就不难理解为何Yndi Halda 的单曲里的曲目动辄十五、六分长了。每次听这首歌，就像被一团粉彩色的云团所围绕的感觉，在舒缓的环境音中，旋律轻巧而悠远地缓缓转折，纠缠的情绪被慢慢地轻抚，聆听整张专辑至此，就像专辑名称所揭示的，wake → sleep
