Various Artists - AnotherLateNight / LateNightTales Series
Downtempo是夜店音乐中一种主流的音乐类型，特点是以舒缓的鼓机节奏营造出一种让人身心舒畅的意像氛围。AnotherLateNight便是一套高品质的Downtempo的唱片，该系列在第八辑开始更名为LateNightTales，除了保持一贯的创作风格外，还突出了Tales这个新念头，每辑唱片都会讲述一出灵异故事。为了配合新的音乐理念，Late Night Tales还换上全新的封面概念：一只坐在酒吧里听故事的可爱小狗。有趣的是，公司还向乐迷征集他们自家小狗的相片以作为下一辑封面。可以说，LateNightTales已成为为数不多的讲究包装设计与音乐理念的跳舞音乐系列。AnotherLateNight系列包括有Howie B,Zero 7等著名电音艺人的唱片，LateNightTales系列亦有最新的Jamiroquai唱片等，目前我已经收集了13张，将逐一放出。
我收入 AnotherLateNight 系列的Groove Armada的那张专辑是在2003年，过程也颇为有趣。当时正在一间写字楼接受培训，午休时随意出来走走，行过一家蚊型小店时，听到他们正在放这张专辑。被吸引进入听了几分钟之后决定拿下，并，长期成为本人做家务时－－尤其是拖地时热播的背景音乐专辑之一。呵呵。
看到考拉发的这个系列的另外一张专辑，以及以上的文字，才知道原来这是个系列。顺手下了和大家分享，并多谢考拉。：）
ps:
1.为了保持这套专辑名称的一致，容易在电脑中查找和分类，我是按“V.A.－专辑名称－时间－Mixed by 歌手名称”来命文件名的。考虑到这些都是混音专辑，应该说，命名基本上是按规则做的。
2.请注意，AnotherLateNight和LateNightTales都是三个单词连在一起的。
3.中文的专辑介绍和评论已在逐步追加。部分文件压制成单一文件，好像是目前国外音乐的一种偏向，个人认为有利有弊。之前该系列部分专辑已有他人发布，如：Groove Armada的，Sly& Robbie的，音质上无很大差别，就不用重复下载了。
4.一套13张，张张精彩，希望考虑予以置顶。

In 1991, Massive Attack's released their debut Blue Lines in America. While in their homeland they were hailed as damn near the UK's urban heir to Pink Floyd, in the States it was more of a cult phenomenon that eventually laid the groundwork for the brief reign of "trip-hop" in the mid-'90s.
Ten years later, London's Zero 7 released their debut Simple Things and look poised to spark a whole new sonic revolution. Deceptively elementary on the surface, the album's vast array of influences (which run from underground hip-hop to old-school sound systems) reveal themselves gloriously over time.
On this deliciously eclectic compilation, the Zero 7 guys (Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns) plumb those influences to unearth a treasure trove of back-packer hip-hop (Souls of Mischief, Slum Village) and soul (Syvia Striplin's Biggie-sampled "You Can't Turn Me Away") classics. Augmented by the occasional blast of indie pop (Jim O'Rourke's sublime "Ghost Ship in a Storm") and straight jazz (Leroy Huston's "Cool Out"), this is one of those rare mixes that flirts with perfection. 说老实话，对Groove Armada的这张专辑的获得过程，就好像管中窥豹后想觅全貌一样。能吸引我听一会儿就有购买欲望的音乐，还真是不多（有些夸张啊，呵呵~~~~~），但这就是其中之一。
和该系列的其他专辑不同，这个专辑相当讲求整体的协调性，不喧宾夺主，但时时会小小调动一下情绪，让你欲罢不能，特别符合Downtrump的真义。听过来以后，这张专辑与Fila Brazillia的那一辑是最合我的口味的。
其中一曲应该是Pink Floyd的，但是我怎么也找不到相应的歌曲名。或者是我搞混淆了。
