For the last couple of years I’ve been living in North Wales, just inside the Snowdonia National Park. It’s such a beautiful part of the world, its hard not to be influenced by the dramatic scenery. Working with new guitarist Andy Moore, and guitarist Richard Dews, the latest album ‘Calm Before The Storm’ was completed early 1998, and released on MTM Records, Munich

Recording this album has been a unique and enjoyable experience for me . Not only because it was recorded at my own studio here in North Wales, but also because I produced it myself. Its funny how your perspective changes on things when paying for studio time isn’t the major worry. You have more time to think, more time to

choose and make decisions.

The song ‘Calm Before The Storm’, has a special meaning for me. I’m sure that most people at some point in their lives get disillusioned. And its easy to understand why. No one ever said life was easy and for most of us, at times it can feel like one big struggle. ‘Calm Before The Storm’ for me is about holding on to that ‘inner belief’, which I think is inside us all. To have the faith in yourself to carry on, and no matter what the world throws at you, to never stop trying.

At twenty five, Andy is the second youngest member of the band. His favourite guitarists are Dave Gilmour and Mark Knopfler. He lives in the Wirral, near Liverpool but lived in Australia when he was younger. Andy now spends a lot of time in Vienna...with his girlfriend Suzi
