新华社上午专电 英国苏格兰司法部长麦卡斯基尔20日宣布，允许身患癌症的洛克比空难制造者阿卜杜勒·巴塞特·阿里·迈格拉希提前获释，返回家乡利比亚度过生命最后一刻。
麦卡斯基尔当天在新闻发布会上说：“迈格拉希已奄奄一息，生命即将走到尽头。我决定，他应当返回家乡，在那里结束生命。”
迈格拉希现年57岁，先前是利比亚特工。他2001年被判参与制造洛克比空难罪名成立，获刑终身监禁，刑期后改为27年。
1988年12月，美国泛美航空公司一架客机在苏格兰洛克比镇上空爆炸，造成机上和地面共270人丧生，其中包括189名美国人。
