剧情简介：

Vexed is a comedy drama series which follows the exploits of Jack and Kate, a pair of police detectives who struggle to balance their personal problems with their police careers.

Police detectives Jack and Kate have very different approaches to the job and life in general. In fact they disagree on everything.

Life’s as complicated as you make it, and Jack tends to keep things simple. Attractive, humorous, intelligent – Jack drifted into the police and has coasted to the rank of DI. In fact, he’s coasting through life.

At work, Jack is lazy, inefficient and disorganised, but carries it off with great charm.

Police work isn’t a vocation - it’s a job. If Jack could think of something else to do, he might do it. Then again, he might not.

Kate’s arrival is a mixed blessing for Jack. Kate sees through Jack’s flippant responses to personal questions and forces him to look at his life more closely than he finds comfortable.

Kate definitely complicates Jack’s life, and maybe that isn’t such a bad thing.

Kate has transferred to the city to gain a promotion – and to escape the feeling that she’s stuck in a rut.

Telling herself that she has been happily married to Dan for the past five years, perfectionist Kate's move to the urban sprawl is likely to test her relationship.

But Kate's not as straight-laced and uptight as she might at first seem.

She's just as insecure as the rest of us, especially when it comes to being a woman working in the world of crime.

Kate's determined to prove that she can do anything that Jack can, and better.
