A Wondrous Reading in the Morning

I was woken up by the English tape played automatically at six sharp this morning—My roommate forgot to turn it off this last night when the electricity went off.

And I thus decided to get up half an hour early than usual.

After serving myself a yummy cooked breakfast by myself, the very best part of a

day began, with my favourite recreation of morning reading.

The air was cool while birds singing filled all the felt space around. There were few people outside at this early hour of day and luckily I could be freed to jog all the way around, touching the lowered pine branches alongside the way. Another day of hope has begun!:)

The dull version of TCM English textbook which had been with me during the preparation for yesterday’s competition was left behind in dorm, and I had today with me a delicious book of the World of English, whose languages are far too much

more idiomatic and picturesque. (The English version of TCM—Traditional Chinese

Medicine was, I am sorry to say, nothing but awful.)

I was, delightedly brought into a world far beyond this one which I am living in

, and into the ones pictures by the authors, and with wondrous, just wondrous language! I read about a student teacher who had encouraged her student of 12 years old to be a writer, and I have read about a dancing party at which the author

witnessed his 70s old mom’s dancing, gracefully as if it were in her 20s, with

a famous star met in her youth.

The twisting of tongue, the hearing of my own voice, and the air full of delightful bird songs and the world ahead of newly-blooming pear tree had made me totally immersed in this activity. And what a blessing to be reading outside at a time when the day just begins and there is little disturbance from human in the nature!

Needless to say, I was sure one of those truly blessed to have the aptitude to commute with mother nature. I do not really look at the lined while reading, but

rather into the tree leaves waving ahead, grass beneath, and birds jumping from

one spot to another. The ears were awaken and sensitive though, you need it all

to fully train your listening and it is also good for your ability of memorizing

if you do not have your eyes fixed on the books in hand. Then, if I happen to be fortunate enough, I can recite some paragraph, then the vision can be got rid

of and the audition should be the only thing left. I became much more aware of the voice uttered. It truly is an art in the way one uses his faculty of senses!

And, of course, there are various ways if you want to utter a same word. I bet you will get more if you also explore like I do. I have been morning reading for

almost 7 years now and the art aspect has been coming closer each day, making me

a nice speaker then ever.

Well, sounds like self bloating? I am just overjoyed with this blessing! Not to

mention the inspiration one can get from the spirit of each essay written and read!
