A Wicked Cruel Soul

I was in a rage when I wrote down the headline of this article. It could have been a normal traffic accident if something had not happened subsequently.

A car hit a mid-aged man on bicycle, instead of getting off the car and taking the injured man to the hospital, the brutal crazy driver immediately made a U turn and ran over the injured once again and smashed his chest!

Occasionally we hear that some irresponsible drivers would escape from the accident scene and leave the victim alone in order to evade his legal obligation, but

such an inhuman wretch I have never ever heard of before.

What’s more, his confession, he was arrested shortly after the accident, was even more astonishing and worthwhile for our authorities to ruminate over and over

again. He said, he had carefully studied the existing traffic laws and found out that the maximum compensation amount for a traffic accident victim is about RMB 200,000; however the compensation amount for the injured is uncertain, it all

depends on how seriously he was wounded. In short, the possible future medical

charges would be unfathomable considering the rocket high medical costs in recent years. Therefore, in his opinion he would have to throw his good money to an

opening maw, a yawning gulf.

At a later survey among drivers, the journalist has concluded that it is not a small number of drivers who hold such an opinion. Outrageous! It is even more horrible than traffic accident itself!

I am flabbergasted!
