My Best Friend--Star

My dear friend, this star is not the stars in the beautiful night sky,it's the English name of my best friend.Star is a girl with big round eyes.She thinks she

is fat and short but still attractive.She is curious about new things and always

have strange but lovely ideas.

Star has been my best friend for ten years.In the boring senior years,she brought me a great deal of happiness.At that time,I was a quite girl who didn't laugh

or smile often.But Star is born to be happy and humorous.She often told jokes to

me and made me laugh.But one day,she said to me,"Why are you so serious?I try me best to make you laugh but you just laugh for a while and then wear your cold

and serious face again.It's boring to be your friend!" Her words hurt me a lot,but at the same time I began to think a lot about myself.Was I too boring and uninteresting?Did I care about my friend Star?What did I do for my friend?These questions made me realise that I was too selfish to my friend.So I wrote a letter to her.I told her she was a very important friend to me.She made me realise my shortcomings.I wanted to become a good friend but I didn't know how.So I needed her help.

After that,we became very good friends.We studied together,went to school together,played together and shared our secrets.And we did a lot funny things.

At the summer night,we would went to the bridge in our towm,taking a watermelon

and two spoons.We chopped the watermelon and ate it with the spoons on the bridge.The people passing by looked at us strangely,but we two talked and ate happily

.She taught me how to be a happy person beyond other people's views.

Tell you the truth,I was an excellent student in the school,but Star and I often

did something out of the principle.Of course, we wouln't do the abherrant things.During thebreak of night classes,we would went out of the school to have some

snacks.There were a lot of delicious food in the conner not far away from my school,which took us about 5 minutes to arrive.Usually there were a lot of customers so we had to wait.Thus ten-minute break was too short for us to enjoy.So being

late was the often thing.Fortunately,my teacher was not very angry with us because I was a top student in his class.

Till now we still keep in touch with each other.She is my best listener and helper,and I will try my best to do the things I can.I'm thankful because I have such a good friend.Friendship is forever.
