贴牌 “Standard ”赢得了“ Standard”商标权利

菲律宾知识产权局发出消息，他们已经拒绝了生产商Johnny Konwat使用Standard商标的请求权利。

这个裁判结果代表了Standard Appliances公司的胜利，同时也约束了在菲律宾Pasay城市Standard Electric生产公司，这家公司曾经说他们从1966年就开始使用“Standard”商标，生产很多小家电产品，例如电风扇、面包机、淘迷机、洗衣机、电熨斗、加湿器、电视机、煤气炉、电水壶等。

案件可以追朔到1995年10月19日知识产权局的判定，那时候案件的判决是Johnny Konwat作为商业机构允许使用“Standard”商标名字。

OEM Standard Wins Rights to "Standard" Brand

The Philippines’ Intellectual Property Office said it denied the petition of a rice dispenser producer, Johnny Konwat, to use the brand name "Standard."

The ruling is a victory for Standard Appliances Corp. and closely tied Standard Electric Manufacturing Corp. of Pasay City in the Philippines, which inQ7 says have been using the Standard brand name since 1966 for appliances such as fans, toasters, rice makers, washers, irons, water heaters, TVs, gas stoves, and electric pots.

The case dates back to Oct. 19, 1995, according to the Intellectual Property Office, when the case was filed to determine if businessman Johnny Konwat should be allowed to make use of the "Standard" brand name.
